NOTES ON TELECONSULTATION
HiDoc teleconsultations are ideal for people who need to see a specialist for a second time or more. Our teleconsultations are also recommended for those who need a second opinion on a medical condition.
Teleconsultation is not suitable for all medical conditions.
Patients with chronic or mental health conditions are not encouraged to use teleconsulting.
Symptoms such as bleeding, wounds, fractures, fainting, severe headache or dizziness, numbness, or loss of vision or speech are also not suitable for teleconsulting, because they may require the immediate medical attention of the Accident & Emergency department at your nearest hospital.
See our FAQs for a list of conditions that telemedicine can help with. If in doubt, please visit your nearest medical clinician in person as soon as possible.
